You can reserve your place by making a payment of the deposit of NZ$360. The deposit is non-refundable and will be deducted from the balance of your fees. Please note that the following courses are subject to our entry test: TESOL & Academic English - IELTS If, after completion of your test, our teachers consider that your level is not sufficient for entry, you may be advised to undertake a course of Communication English until you have reached the required entry level.
Your fees are protected in a Trust Fund as required by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.
Refund Policy
Cancellations and refunds
i Before you arrive in New Zealand or if you are not granted a visa to study in New Zealand: The Auckland English Academy will refund all tuition and homestay fees. ii After you arrive in New Zealand: The Auckland English Academy will refund the following: 1-5 week courses: 50% of tuition fees for cancellations in the first 2 days; 6-12 week courses: 75% of tuition fees for cancellations in the first 5 days; 13+ week courses: all tuition fees, except for 10% of your total tuition fee or NZ$500 whichever is the lesser for cancellations in the first 7 days. iii After the first 7 days of your course: The Auckland English Academy will refund any unused portion of your homestay fees. No other fees can be refunded. However, students at the Academy will retain all rights and protections available under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. iv All cancellations and applications for a refund must be received in writing. Before making a refund, we will require evidence that you have changed your visa status or returned to your home country. All accompanying documentation (all original) must be provided within 7 days of the initial refund request. All the fees and conditions in this contract are governed by New Zealand law and courts. |
